Founda Mitz Connector Achieves Official Mitz Approval

We’re excited to share that the Founda Mitz Connector has officially been accepted and certified by VZVZ for connection to the national Mitz registry. This certification confirms that Founda is an official MC leverancier (Mitz Connector supplier) and that our Mitz Connector meets all requirements for secure, standards-based patient consent checks through Mitz. This marks an important step toward enabling compliant, connected care across the Netherlands.

Mitz Compliance Built Directly Into The Existing Founda Setup

With this certification, Dutch healthcare providers using the Founda Platform can now perform Mitz consent checks directly within their existing Founda workflows on the Dutch XDSCloud. No additional vendors or new infrastructure are required. This means Founda customers can use Mitz consents when exchanging patient information with other healthcare providers. 

Healthcare providers now have one unified place to manage Mitz and local consent logic, backed by the same secure, standards-based foundation they already rely on. The Founda Mitz Connector also removes the need to register patient consent locally.
