With this agreement, Founda and Health-RI are taking an important step toward making imaging data available for secondary use, an area that is becoming increasingly important in light of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
Hospitals remain in control of their data, while this collaboration ensures that metadata from imaging can be made more findable and accessible in a way that is secure, standardized, and fully privacy-conscious. This means imaging data can ultimately be reused responsibly, not only in treatment, but also in research, innovation, and policy development.
