Accessibility Statement for Founda Health
Last update:September 19, 2024
At Founda Health, we are committed to ensuring that all individuals, regardless of ability or circumstance, can access the services and content provided on our website, www.foundahealth.com. We are dedicated to continually improving the user experience for all users and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make our product suite as accessible as possible.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is the international standard that defines requirements for designers and developers to improve the accessibility of websites and applications for individuals with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A (basic), Level AA (intermediate/standard), and Level AAA (highest).
Our product suite is currently not compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We are in the process of identifying and prioritizing improvements to ensure our product meets these standards in the future.
Non-accessible content and our measures
We understand the critical importance of web accessibility, and while our current focus has been on delivering healthcare solutions for different stakeholders, we acknowledge that accessibility improvements have not yet been fully integrated into our product design and development process. At present, we have identified the following areas of our services that do not meet accessibility standards:
Non-keyboard Accessible Elements: Some features on our website, such as interactive forms, dropdown menus, and pop-ups, are not fully navigable using a keyboard alone. This can prevent users who rely on keyboard navigation from fully interacting with the website.
Insufficient Color Contrast: Several components of our product suite use color combinations that do not provide enough contrast, making it difficult for users with visual impairments to read the text clearly.
Lack of Screen Reader Compatibility: Certain elements of our website may not work effectively with screen readers, limiting access to users who rely on assistive technology to browse.
Images Without Alternative Text: Many of our images currently lack descriptive alternative text, which limits access for screen reader users.
We are actively reviewing our approach to accessibility and are in the process of identifying areas of improvements and plan upgrades to our products, including working with accessibility experts to implement the necessary changes.
